Imagine a client that literally let you do whatever the hell you wanted, as long as it got impressions; now imagine that account was about killer aliens from outerspace, featuring the most glorious 80’s action-movie one-liners in cinema history.

For whatever reason, the design gods had blessed us with the awesome account that was the Predator Franchise’s social account. There were times where the client would just ask us for “stuff,” and I’d spend the day looking at my Pinterest boards, replicating whatever I thought looked cool…

And then they would approve the pieces. Without revision notes. For one and a half years of green-blood splattering, crab-faced yelling, Arnold arm-flexing and unreasonably large explosions, we were allowed to just play.

The Anniversary Poster

To celebrate the 30th year of one of the most iconic action movies, the client asked us to “make something special.” Well alright.

Not only was it well received, it was also printed out for use at anniversary screenings; and thus, I finally got a key art finish.
