Fun with nuns
Did you ever pitch an idea that got approved almost in its entirety? This was the closest I ever got. A fun Instagram timeline mega mural for The Nun, the prequel movie of the Conjuring series.
IG murals are simple in theory, hard to make effective; especially with kids out there making them through apps, but with bad photos that will flood their timelines with half of a letter, or just boxes of pure black. I made sure to try to make every frame filled with something strong enough to stand on its own, while still getting the big picture across in the profile timeline.

Originally, a long quote would go over everything, with letters highlighted to spell out, “GOD ENDS HERE”

Sans blasphemy. In addition, all the black and white posts were turned into carousel posts to keep things interesting.

To help spice up this all-static mural, it was decided to make all the black-and-white images a carousel post. Maybe spice is too tasty of an adjective… garnish? Yeah.
